I came here in a massive group of 40 people when a really good friend of mine had a camping wedding weekend. My only other adult camping experience had been really roughing it, so this seemed like a luxurious little holiday!

The Pacheedaht-run campground is located on a sandy beach, facing the Pacific Ocean. Signs at the entrance to the Pacheedaht campground. At the far end of the reserve, near the open ocean and a popular campground run by the Pacheedaht, is the West Coast Trail check in, which the nation runs with Parks Canada.

The Pacheedaht Campground is a beautiful, and often bustling campground, quite close to the Gordon River trailhead for the West Coast Trail. Pacheedaht Beach is exactly what you would hope for in a Vancouver Island, west coast beach.
