Chara falling in 201X doesn't make sense. So Chara fell in 201X, it's pretty much confirmed canon, through Chara's narrating red text, but that just doesn't feel right to me. The monsters were sealed underground by humans' wizards wielding magic, swords and spears. They face someone who is presumably the monster king, and he looks suspiciously.

The calendar in Asgore's house has a date in 201X circled, which the Geno Route red text identifies as the day the speaker of said red text, that being Chara, fell into the Underground. Also of note is the continuity of this scene and the memories shown in the Hyperdeath fight, sharing the same.
